Brand Policy

Objectives

Kartoenbitjara Indonesia Foundation (Yayasan KI) owns and oversees brand’s name and logo of Infoligen. We have developed this brand terms of use with the following objectives:

  • We want to make it easy for anyone to use brand’s name or logo of Infoligen as a community effort that helped spread and increase benefits and services we provide.
  • We want to make it clear how businesses and projects associated with Infoligen can (and can’t) use the name and logo of Infoligen.
  • We want to make it difficult for anyone to use brand’s name and logo of Infoligen with aim of benefiting unfairly from trick or intended to confuse people looking for our official source.

Use Of Brand

Permission from Yayasan KI is required to use our brand as part of the project, product, service, domain or company name. We will give you permission to use brand’s name and logo of Infoligen for projects that meet the following criteria:

  • Main objective of the project is to promote the dissemination and enhancement benefits and services of Infoligen.
  • Your project is non-commercial (can make money to cover the costs or contribute to non-profit entities, but can not be run as profit or business projects).
  • Your project does not promote or associated with the entities that currently fails to comply with Creative Commons license where the Infoligen were distributed.

If your project meets these criteria, you will be permitted to use Infoligen’s name and logo to promote your project in any way you see fit with one exception: do not use Infoligen as a part of the domain name.

The use of our brand is allowed in the following situations:

  • You use Infoligen’s logo on the official site that has been approved by Yayasan KI.
  • You use graphics provided by the Yayasan KI to promote event or fact that you are attending, speaking, volunteer, or sponsor the event.

All business or other projects related to Infoligen or Yayasan KI can use Infoligen’s name and logo to identify and explain their service, but cannot use it as part of product, project, service, or company name, domain and can not use it as a way to show an affiliate without permission from Yayasan KI. For example, a consultant can describe their business as “XYZ Service, offering consultation of Infoligen for educational projects” but cannot call its business as “Infoligen’s Consultant“.

We do not allow use of our brand in the advertisement(s), including but not limited to AdSense/AdWords. However, it does not apply to advertisements published by Yayasan KI.

Please note that all of these policies are not aimed at restricting commercial activity around Infoligen. We encourage Infoligenbased business as part of Yayasan KI’s purpose in development of business sector.

Acronym “info” is not covered under Infoligen’s brand and you are free to use it in any way you want. When in doubt about use of Infoligen’s brand, please contact Yayasan KI for clarification.

Logos and Graphics

Wordmark “įńføŀìğėŋ” is a glyph from Linux Libertinefont face which was created by Libertine Open Fonts Projekt. To be able to use brand’s name and logo of Infoligen, you must comply with our brand policy.
